It is a specific approach to treat scoliosis. Since its development in Germany by Katharina Schroth in 1921, the exercise approach has helped many scoliosis patients to regain mobility, reduce curve progression, pain control and improve respiratory function.
Tell me more about the post-
The body goes through a lot of physical changes during pregnancy and delivery. The most common problems after delivery are urinary incontinence, separation of the abdominal muscle (diastasis recti), core muscle insufficiency, sacroiliac joint imbalance and constipation. These are issues that physical therapy can help resolve.
How do you treat stress or urge incontinence?
It takes a detailed evaluation of the musculoskeletal system, fascial restrictions and assessment of the fluid intake and urinary output pattern before establishing an individual treatment program . Treatment includes core muscle coordination and reeducation, bladder training, visceral manipulation and therapeutic exercise. Home exercise program will be issued for better success and control.
How long is a treatment session?
Each treatment session is about one hour long, so plan your visit accordingly.
How often do I need to be treated?
Depends on the individual situation. Because of the attention each patient would get in each session, treatment frequency of once a week would be sufficient in most cases.
What is the rate for each session?
The rate for evaluation is $165/hour and treatment session is $150/hour
